Hideo Takayashiki

Birth place: Iwate Prefecture, Japan Hideo Takayashiki is a screenwriter much like his ex-wife Tomoko Konparu. Takayashiki studied Literature at Toyo University but left before graduating and joined Mushi Pro, where he worked in production. After Mushi Pro announced bankruptcy he joined Madhouse for a brief time before becoming freelance in 1979. He made his debut as screenwriter in 1981 on Ashita no Joe 2 and continued writing scripts in the following years, giving up on being episode director starting in 1983. He also wrote some novels in the past. In the recent years he has been affiliated with Madhouse again. (Source: AniDB)
